A big match happened in the fourth event of IESPL Women Championship’s (IWC 2023) Group B qualifiers; Bigetron Era and GPX Basreng, two teams which are favored for the champion title, faced each other in a match this Wednesday (11/1).

Both teams have indeed become a huge names within Indonesia’s competitive ladies eSports scene; Bigetron Era won WSL tournaments from the third to the fifth season, while GPX Basreng became the runner-up for MWI 2022 as well as the fourth season of WSL tournament.

This match became the first one played on that day for GPX Basreng as Bigetron Era have played one game ahead, with them successfully claimed victory in the previous match by defeating Dewa United Eve.

With these two gigantic names facing each other, the battle in the Land of Dawn became very tough; both teams served their best abilities which made the match truly entertaining.

Intense rivalry between them made the match lasted for 22 minutes. The moment GPX Basreng successfully got the last Lord is the beginning of a horrifying calamity for Bigetron Era.

The presence of the last Lord allowed GPX Basreng to freely point-and-shoot towards the top part of Bigetron Era’s Inhibitor Tower, ripped The Red Robots’ defense off, leaving them no choice but to defend their base frantically.

GPX Basreng’s key to victory is Caramel’s ingenuity, where she focused on attacking her rivaling team’s base. When other players are busy doing the team fight, Caramel did a split push by attacking Bigetron Era’s unguarded base instead.

This resulting in GPX Basreng’s first won in the group, as well as revving up their position back to the top place of the standings. Their sweet victory became even sweeter after Chincaaw was named the MVP of the match, with the recprded K/D/A numbers of 6/2/4.
