Aamon Goes Meta in IWC 2023? Ko Lius Explained It All!

The Ladies Mobile Legends tournament in the IESPL Women Championship has officially started on Monday (9/1). On the second day of Group A match in the event, ECHO Aeris met AURA Phoenix yet again then won the match.

In the fifth game, ECHO Aeris’ jungler Liv plays freely with her Hero, Aamon. Her appearance deserved a big thumbs up considering that Aamon doesn’t included in the current meta. Despite that fact, Aamon became super deadly in her control.

After the match, Ko Lius gave his opinions about ECHO Aeris’ decision in choosing Aamon. The IWC 2023 caster said that Aamon is quite risky to use in this current meta. He also highlighted some points regarding Aamon’s specs.

“Actually Aamon succeeded in this game, but that Hero is indeed a bit unwell in this current meta considering his lack of escape. This became the reason why in the future (Aamon) would only be a situational choice rather than the main.” he explained.

From Ko Lius’ perspective, we can conclude that Aamon is actually not too crucial pick to be a prioritized pick. His weak point in the escaping aspect is the main factor of why this Hero is no longer a meta. But Liv’s current performance is worth applauding as she is able to maximize Aamon’s potential very well.

Aamon’s appearance in the game was indeed surprisisng for the rivaling team. With Aamon on her side, Liv became almost untouchable by the AURA Phoenix folks. This means that in some circumstances, with the right amount of team composition, Aamon as a Hero have potentials which can be explored further.
