MWI 2023, the most prestigious women’s-only Mobile Legends in Southeast Asia, has officially kickstarted on Monday (6/2). It’s a tournament which showcased female Mobile Legends players to compete in an international-scale event.
The event won’t come out successfully without the support from the outside sponsors, one of which is Samsung, the main sponsor for this tournament. Samsung Electronics Indonesia’s MX Product Marketing, Verry Octavianus Wijaya, was present at the MWI 2023’s press conference and opening event.
Verry mentioned how Samsung recognizes the significant growth of esports in Indonesia, therefore, the company strives to give the best performance in each and every of its products. Like the usage of Snapdragon 8 chip in Samsung Galaxy smartphones which provides a smooth gaming experience.
“Samsung has always been showing our consistent commitments by working together with KINCIR since 2020 because we see the significant growth of esports in Indonesia. On Samsung’s latest product launch, we showcased the performance aspects. For the Samsung Galaxy smartphone, we use the Snapdragon 8 chip, which resulting in the smoother performance when playing games from the phone,” told Verry.
Samsung also hopes for the youngsters to uphold sportsmanship with the existence of esports, as well as showing their commitments and support in esports by providing high performance in every smartphones they released.
“We at Samsung really hope for the young generations to honor the sportsmanship by plunging themselves into the esports. We will consistently give support by maintaining the performance of our smartphones,” concluded Verry.
